Position Papers

The Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association (AHATA) regularly publishes position papers addressing key topics affecting Aruba’s tourism industry and the wider community. These documents outline the association’s perspectives, recommendations, and policy considerations on issues such as sustainable tourism development, economic impact, environmental responsibility, and regulatory matters.

As the voice of the private tourism sector in Aruba, AHATA represents a broad membership of hotels, tourism businesses, and service providers, working to support a strong and sustainable tourism economy for the island.

The position papers available here provide insight into AHATA’s research, industry expertise, and advocacy efforts. They are intended to inform policymakers, stakeholders, and the public about the opportunities and challenges shaping Aruba’s tourism sector.
